Wall Units

Our modern busy lives often lead to lots of "stuff" which can overwhelm our living spaces. A good wall unit can help organize, store and display our precious and necessary things. Lucy Chapman has a particularly strong ability to guide her clients towards the discovery of what they REALLY need, and to provide suggestions and options for the ideal cabinetry configuration.

Maple Ripple -A home office that makes work a pleasure adds value to this slick condo. Stained lower door panels echo the dark toned floors. The upper door’s frosted glass panels keep this ceiling-height unit from being imposing, while providing much needed storage. Their hidden pulls contribute to the airy feel. A pleasing tension is created by having heavy double-thick gables on the open shelves, with no under supports along the 11 foot span of work top

Wall to Walll – Many early 1900’s homes have few or no original closets. This wall to wall built-in was created to blend respectfully into a lovingly restored home. It is ample enough to accommodate a large wardrobe and extra storage, while minimally impacting on the room’s size.

High Class Mud: A household of seven plus guests requires efficient design and spacious storage. This oak mudroom consists of eight cubbies with hooks for jackets, hats, backpacks and more. Open cubbies above hold baskets to keep mittens tidy. Extra storage behind doors keeps out of season items close at hand. The 24 inch deep solid oak bench provides generous and indestructible seating which also allows kids to climb up to reach the cubbies. Elegant and practical, the 'wow' factor in this home starts right upon entry.
